Associate Manager; Back of House (Full Time, 30+ Hours per week)

ROLE OF ASSOCIATE MANAGER; BACK OF HOUSE:
• Assist the Chief of Operations with the coordination of activities for your locations staff.
• Own, Lead, and Run the Kitchen and all things Back of House (typically outside the view of Customers)
• Promote a professional and safe working environment and contribute to all areas of operation as
needed.
• Train and coach team members in Customer service, facility maintenance, and presentation quality.
• Listen and communicate efficiently with Customers and respond promptly to needs and requests.
• Assist in ordering and receiving supplies from vendors.
• Prepare bank deposits and cash drops; Perform settlement of credit card transactions.
• The position of Associate Manager; Back of House is a Full-Time position (30+ hours per week)
reporting to the Chief of Operations.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to learn all Theater functions, including projection, computer systems, and food and
beverage preparation and presentation. PLEASE NOTE; The Delta will serve Alcohol, and due to age restrictions imposed upon The Delta by the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC), as this is a Supervisory Role, you must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for this position. You must also attend, pass, and maintain your Responsible Beverage Server (RBS) Training and Certification, and attend, pass, and maintain your California Food Handler Card Training and Certification.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Time management, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Flexible availability including daytime, evenings, weekends and major holidays.
Education and Experience:
• Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate, or have a comparable combination of
education and work experience.
• Requires at least one year of management/leadership experience in high volume and/or multi-unit
Theater, retail or restaurant operations or other related leadership experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• This position requires the employee to frequently lift and/or carry up to 10 pounds and occasionally
lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• This position requires the employee to climb stairs, bend, lift and reach repeatedly, as well as sitting
or standing for long periods of time.

FLOOR STAFFER - (Part Time, 15-29 Hours per week)

If you love the movies and are passionate about providing great service, The Delta Theater is looking for
you! Our floor staffers are dedicated to delivering excellent customer service as the front-line of
contact for all Customers visiting The Delta Theater. This is a part-time, non-exempt position reporting to
Associate Managers and the Chief of Operations with 15-30 hours per week.

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for selling tickets and Gift Cards to Customers. You will also field questions about film content,
ratings, provide directions to the Theater, inform Customers about prices and promotions, and perform daily box office maintenance duties and complete various reports as needed.
You will also sell fresh, appetizing food and beverages to our Customers. You will assemble food orders,
operate point-of-sale terminals, maintain cleanliness of the entire facility including cooking
equipment, counters, glass display cases, condiment areas, preparation areas, auditoriums, restrooms and stock rooms.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Outgoing, positive and enthusiastic attitude toward working with the public and coworkers. PLEASE NOTE; The Delta will serve Alcohol, and due to age restrictions imposed upon The Delta by the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC), this may impact our ability to hire for positions based on ABC Age Restrictions. Regardless of said, you must attend, pass, and maintain your Responsible Beverage Server (RBS) Training and Certification, and regardless of age, all employees must attend, pass, and maintain your California Food Handler Card Training and Certification.   
• This role is PT and requires full availability (barring restrictions imposed on minors by their Work Permits) for any shift with a minimum of three (3) days per week, including nights and holidays. Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred.
